Sheltering at Camiguin Island - March 17, 2011

On our voyage from Bugo, Cagayan de Oro City to Yawata, Japan we encountered a quite strong Gale weather on the 16th and 17th of March 2011 while navigating the western seaboards of Northern Luzon.

We endured the brunt of a strong Gale weather with winds of Beaufort Force 6 to 7,  from the coast of Ilocos Sur up to Babuyan Channel.

We entered the Port of San Pio Quinto located in the western part of Camiguin Island to take shelter from strong winds. Here were some photos of the view around the port of San Pio Quinto, the only sheltering port in Babuyan islands.
